Seasoned Tourers

Our "Seasoned Tourers" package is based on first time tourers but will include longer and more challenging sections.

The tour is based on a 6 night trip to Normandy France, leaving from and returning to Portsmouth.  Whilst the focus is on safe motorcycle riding under the watchful eye of an advanced instructor (with input if you desire), the tour also focuses on many of the local attractions e.g. beaches, significant events, Pegasus Bridge, Maisy Battery, Longues sur Mer.

Price includes return ferry crossing for bike and rider, shared ferry cabin inbound and outbound, 4 nights bed and breakfast in a traditional French B&B and the use of a local tour guide.

The itinerary will be loosely based on the following:

Day 1, overnight ferry Portsmouth to St Malo.

Day 2, a leisurely ride along the spectacular coast road after breakfast in St Malo, passing such places as Mont St Michel, Genet, Jullouville and Granville to reach the B&B accommodation.

Day 3, taking in some of the sights around the American landing sites with a local guide.

Day 4, a day of rest which will also have options to visit various local places, dependent on weather.

Day 5, taking in some of the sights around the Canadian and British landing sites with a local guide.

Day 6, taking in some more of the sights around the Canadian and British landing sites, including Pegasus Bridge with a local guide.  Finishing off by heading to the overnight ferry from Caen to Portsmouth.

Day 7, arrive Portsmouth.
